Hey Loves,
Long time no talk... As always. Sorry for being MIA all summer, working full time was more time consuming than I planned. But I can fill you in on everything you missed!

BALMAIN x H&M ● Fashion News

Hello!

If you're a huge fashion fanatic as I am, you'll probably know this by now, but to all my fashion lovers who missed the new - BALMAIN and H&M are collaborating!!! It was announced less than 12 hours ago on instagram (and probably on hm.com and other places, but I don't browse those websites at 2 in the morning). The creative director of Balmain, Olivier Rousteing, took the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards together with his friends Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn. They were all dressed in Balmain x H&M – revealing the first pieces of the collection.

Honestly I couldn't be more excited for this collab, as Balmain has been one of my favorite fashion houses to follow these past few years. I love Olivier Rousteing and his creations and I'm pretty sure this collaboration might be the best one we've seen in a long time. Now more about the collection itself and what we can predict so far. It's inspired by past Balmain collections and I'm pretty sure it's going to be hella expensive, so I'll have to start saving now. The blazer/jacket/dress thing and thigh-high shoes that Kendall wore were beyond beautiful and definitely my favorite so far.

So mark your calendars and Go #Balmaination!

The Inspiration Board ● LFW AW15 Street Style Edition

Hi!
The day for LFW inspiration board has come and it can only be described with one word - Eclectic. It was literally "mission impossible" to create a coherent board. So many different styles, everyone wants to make a statement and be noticed. London is definitely the brightest city when it come to wearing colors. Also London is the best for outerwear inspiration as it's either rainy or cold during this time of the year so unique coat is fashionistas best friend (unless you don't mind freezing to death for fashion). But at the same time it was way harder than any other week to hunt for looks that I personally found inspiring as there were (in my opinion) way too many "try-hards". That's it for now loves, I'll see you soon!

The Inspiration Board ● NYFW AW15 Street Style Edition #1

Hello loves!
Once again I'm a little bit behind, but I came up with this idea only the other day... I was thinking about The Inspiration Board post for February and suddenly realized that some of the pictures I'd use would probably come from Fashion week, so I might as well do the entire series dedicated to it! So over next 2 weeks expect to see boards inspired by all 4 weeks.

NYFW is my hands down favorite when it comes to street style (obviously, as I'll do not one but two broads for it!). It's daring but not crazy. First board is inspired by black outfits and details. Black is timeless and always the best choice in my opinion. As you can see each outfit is different and definitely bold yet seems wearable. So pictures like these inspire me the most to experiment with my everyday style and step outside my comfort zone!

MARSALA ● Pantone Color of the Year

So recently Pantone announced their color of year. So color of 2015 is Marsala. Pantone themselves on their website described Marsala as "Much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala its name, this tasteful hue embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling meal while its grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated, natural earthiness. This hearty, yet stylish tone is universally appealing and translates easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors." And I could not agree more! It's a beautiful tone that is extremely universal. For the past four years I was disappointed with their color choices. I felt like colors or at least the exact tones of 2014(Radiant orchid), 2013(emerald), 2012(Tangerine tango) and 2011(Honeysuckle) were quite random and far from most popular ones in fashion and beauty.
As I mentioned before I'm definitely pleased with their choice this year. Marsala without a doubt is "The it" color now, especially after 90's fashion came back and Kylie Jenner made everyone lust over red-brown tones again. I can proudly admit I'm one of them and I plan on buying at least 10 red-brown lipsticks this year! Also I'm thrilled to see if fast fashion industry will incorporate this shade into their AW 15 collections.

The Inspiration Board ● November 2014

Hello!
Guys it's already November.. Can you believe it?! I know I can't! So as you can see this month I'm more interested in, and inspired by makeup. Glowing skin, defined cheekbones, bold eyes or lips, big natural looking eyebrows and messy hair... I feel inspired to experiment with new makeup looks, to be daring and bold! I haven't felt this way in a really long time and now I realize how much I've missed it.. Fashion wise this month I've fallen in love with minimalistic yet very cozy looks. Huge snugly scarf, black leather and white fabrics.. Extremely effortless and easy to recreate, yet so chic!

I've realized that I should credit the owners/sources. I've collected these pics over past few weeks, so it's really hard to track down links now.. I promise I'll do it next month! I found them on tumblr.

Oscar de la Renta ● Fashion Legend

Hey Loves,
Two days ago an amazing designer Oscar de la Renta passed away. He was a Fashion Legend and for over five decades he made fashion that was inspiring and elegant. When I think about Oscar and his designs, a red gorgeous gown pops up in my mind. I don't know why or when I came up with this association, but I feel that today is a great time to share my favorite red gowns designed by Oscar de la Renta.

The Inspiration Board ● October 2014

Hello,
So after almost 4 months I'm back to blogging. With new layout and a million ideas in my mind, hopefully I'll stay motivated to write! And what better way to start blogging again than with "Inspiration board" post right? When it comes to fashion, autumn/winter seasons are my favorite. Darker colors, layers, big knitted sweaters... Ugh got to love it!

InstaWall ● May 2014

Hey!
So at the end of the month I plan on sharing my instagram pictures in one big post. This post is a bit late, but I was really busy. Hopefully by the end of this month I'll find a better blog layout and these posts will look more attractive! So now let's talk about these pictures.

1. I finally got a new phone! So expect more pictures during the summertime.
2. 'Beautiful Mess' - I'm an extremely messy person and one night I felt inspired to clean up my space. This is how my table looked before..
3. I love neutral shades when it comes makeup (and clothes). But my friend lent me BH Cosmetics palette to experiment with colors. One day I felt inspired and then this happened..
4. Selfie. (I believe there's no need to explain this one hahaha)

That is it for the month of May. I plan on uploading more pictures because I finally own a good phone! My instagram name is ' TheMonsterDee '. Feel free to follow!
